An attempt to put together a list of my favorite 20 games. A lot of these have multiple entries from a series that I'm still trying to whittle down and figure out which one is my favorite. No order here (yet?) but Tecmo Super Bowl is probably my favorite game ever.
- Tecmo Super Bowl
- Tony Hawk 2 (Decided on 2 but I love 3 and 4 so much. -3/26/26)
- Castlevania: SotN
- Mario 3
- Super Mario World
- Gran Turismo 4 (I've whittled this down to 4. -3/26/26)
- FF Tactics
- Deus Ex
- Earthbound
- Warioware Mega Microgames
- LoZ: OoT (decided on Oot. -3/26/26)
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
- Wave Race 64
- Tetris Attack (really hard but I think this will have to be a delete. This or Melee. 10/23/26)
- Smash Bros Melee (see above)
- Street Fighter 3 Third Strike
- Tetris (DX version probably)
- Contra
- Virtua Tennis
- GTA 3/4 (deciding on 4. 10/23/26)
- Crash Bandicoot 3
- Jak and Daxter (delete? 10/23/26
- Diablo 3 (delete 10/23/26)
- Astro Bot
- CoD: BLOPS (multiplayer) (delete 10/23/26)
- Halo 1 (multiplayer) (delete 10/23/26)
- Metal Gear Solid 1 (decided on 1. -3/26/26)
- Pokemon Fire Red
- Chrono Cross
- NHL 95 (decided on 95. 3/26/26)
- NBA Jam TE (delete? 10/23/26)
3/26/26 update: Finally revisited this and whittled down my multiple choice options. Time to whittle it down to a final 20
10/23/26 update: This may have to be a Top 25 list. I am struggling so hard to whittle this down any further. NHL 95 makes the cut over Melee, as was told in the Prophecies. Now perhaps time to actually rank all of these in order.
